Step 1 — Your Date of Birth

Step 2 — Course Age Range (As Per Advertisement)
Where to find this: In the official recruitment advertisement, look for a line such as "Age: 17 to 22 years" or "between 16 years 6 months and 21 years". Enter the lower and upper limits below in years and months. For example, "17 years 6 months" = 17 years, 6 months.

Step 3 — Age Relaxation (If Any)
What is age relaxation? Some advertisements grant additional months or years of relaxation — usually for specific categories (e.g. ex-cadet, tribal area, overseas). If the advertisement says "age relaxation of 6 months" for your category, enter that here. Enter 0 if no relaxation applies to you. Relaxation on the lower limit means the minimum age is reduced; relaxation on the upper limit means the maximum age is increased. Always confirm your eligibility category from the official notification.

Step 4 — Age Cutoff / Reference Date
What is the cutoff date? This is the date on which your age must fall within the eligible range. In most advertisements, a specific date is mentioned (e.g. "age as on 1st January 2026"). If no date is mentioned, use the last date for registration or the closing date of the advertisement. When in doubt, use the registration closing date and verify from the official source.
